pHlex CR2, our patented caustic replacement, can replace any high pH dangerous caustic to remove heavy grease and carbon buildup. Equal to the strength of 60% sodium hydroxide, CR2 can be safely diluted to meet any high pH cleaning need.

SanipH is our low pH safe alternative to acid-based cleaners including hydrochloric, phosphoric, nitric, acetic and citric acids. Sani-pH can be used on any hard surface and comes in both high (SanipH-H) and low foaming (SanipH-L) versions.

SaniClean

SaniClean is a fully-functional replacement to traditional quaternary ammonium, chlorinated, and alcohol based cleaners. Suitable for use anywhere a conventional food-contact cleaner is used. SaniClean comes in both high foaming (SaniClean-H) and low foaming (SaniClean-L) versions.

Omni PMF uses our patented technology to replace traditional caustic uses in the paper manufacturing industry such as cleaning machine clothing, process equipment, and water treatment.

Watersafe60

WaterSafe60 is an NSF 60 certified descaler that safely replaces traditional acids commonly used in the food and water processing industry. Certified safe for potable water systems, WaterSafe60, like all pHlex products, is Kosher approved.

CR

pHlex CR Caustic Replacement safely raises the pH in any liquid without the use of traditional caustics. Strong enough to replace 60% sodium hydroxide, CR is used in dozens of industries including waste water treatment, agriculture, horticulture, oil & gas, food processing and many others.

WaterSafe 60 safely reduces pH and bicarbonate in water without the use of harsh mineral acids. Watersafe 60 can remove heavy scale buildup as well as prevent scale from forming.

SAR

Peeling agents

 

phlex I

phlex I is our low pH peeling agent. Even at a pH of zero, phlex I remains non-corrosive to equipment and Food GRAS.

When used according to label instructions, pHlex products are safe and suitable for use in a USDA inspected facility.  

phlex II

pHlex II is our high pH peeling agent. Again, a pH extreme of 14 does not make this product corrosive to people or equipment. pHlex II peels with the speed and efficiency of the sodium hydroxide and other traditional caustics without donating sodium or other salts to the process. And because there are no VOCs in any pHlex products, pHlex II does not increase waste water treatment procedures. And because pHlex II neutralizes with water, no acid step is required to “stop” the product from removing too much flesh of the fruit or vegetable being peeled.

FDA

On January 3, 2013 pHlex-HAR, pHlex-CR, and pHlex SAR were formulated in accordance with the same standards as both pHlex I and pHlex II. pHlexaPeel certifies that pHlex-HAR, pHlex-CR, and pHlex SAR are “Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) in accordance with FDA assessment guidelines.
